How can You Help Us?
Memory Sticks are probably as vital to Cubans as cell phones are to your generation.
Working computers are hard to come by in Pinar del Rio, Cuba's most western province. When they get computer time they must save their work. CDs are costly and scratch easily.
Internet access is even harder! Some must travel to the university or internet cafes just to get 15-30min. on line. You can imagine how little you can get done in that time frame.
For these reasons Memory Sticks are much sought after. They will work on the nearest computer and than take their work to one with internet access or one that has a printer. For those that do not have a computer this is often their only way to store photos.
If you have any to donate or know of a company upgrading please keep us in mind. Any size will do, because any size is better than having none. If they need programs to run, please insure they are also included.
